Our Teeth is a personal dental tracking app built by Dental & Aesthetic. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. We built Our Teeth to work entirely on your device — there is no account, no login, and no server that stores your records.
Everything you add — profile details, whitening shade logs, orthodontic milestones, appointments, dental spending, daily care checklists, goals, and any photos you attach — is stored only in local, encrypted-at-rest app storage on your own device. We never see this data, and it is never uploaded to us.
Photos you take or pick for shade detection or milestone logs stay in your device's app storage. The app only keeps a reference to where the photo is saved; photos are never transmitted anywhere by the app itself.
Checkup and care reminders are scheduled locally on your device using your operating system's notification service. No reminder content is sent to any external server.
You can export your data as a backup file or export a PDF smile report. These exports are created on your device and handed off to the share sheet or apps you choose (Mail, Drive, Files, etc.) — you control where they go. We do not receive a copy.
You can deny or revoke any of these in your device settings; the related features simply won't work until re-enabled.
Our Teeth does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, because we never collect it in the first place.
You can permanently erase everything at any time from Profile → Clear All Data, or by uninstalling the app. Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is nothing further for us to delete on our end.
Our Teeth is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information, since the app does not collect data in the first place.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new policy will be available in the app and at this website.
